General Information

LMH RANGE

This range of miniature bayonet connectors is manufactured and approved to BS9522 F0017 (Approval No. 1116/M), BS/CECC 75201-003 (Approval No. M/0213/CECC/UK), and performs to the requirements of MIL-C-26482 Series 1 (Solder Terminations). The range comprises 9 shell sizes and 25 shell styles. Configurations of contacts varies from 2 to 61, spread across the 9 shell sizes.

LMHF RANGE

This range of miniature bayonet connectors incorporates EMI suppression filters. The range has 9 shell sizes and 3 shell styles. Configurations of contacts varies from 6 to 55, spread across the 9 shell sizes.

LMH/LMHF BASIC CONSTRUCTION

Connector shells are manufactured from solid aluminium alloy. The standard shell has a high resistance to corrosion with an olive drab chromate conversion over cadmium plate finish. Inserts are of polychloroprene, compounded to a WEALD specification. Operating temperature range is -55oC to +125oC. The connectors have gold-plated, non-removable, solder or pcb type contacts.

EMC SCREENING

To satisfy electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and electromagnetic pulse (EMP) requirements, free shells can be fitted with grounding fingers.  Fixed & free shells can be fitted with accessories for screened cable termination.

POLARISATION

To avoid mis-mating with similar connectors which may be adjacently mounted, LMH connectors may be polarised thus:

a) Angular Disposition of the Inserts within the Shell providing up to four different orientations other than Normal (N). These are designated W, X, Y, Z. Click here for variations available in each planform, or;

b) The Position of Shell Keys and Keyways providing up to four different polarisations other than Normal (N). These are designated B, C, E, F, (click here for details). With these variations, inserts can be supplied only in the Normal(N) position.
* Shell key and keyway variations, other than Normal, incur price and delivery penalties.
